I've had the Oxford UltraTorch CL1000 front-light on my bike for a few weeks now, and I must say, it's been a mixed bag. When I first took it out of the box, I was immediately struck by its size – it's a large, imposing unit that's clearly designed to pack a punch. The build quality is solid, with a sturdy polycarbonate lens and a durable aluminum body. It feels like it could withstand a few bumps and scrapes without sustaining any damage.

When I mounted it to my handlebars, I was a bit concerned about the weight – it's not exactly light, and it does shift the balance of the bike slightly. However, once I got moving, I was pleasantly surprised by how well it handled. The light is incredibly bright, with a powerful output that cuts through even the thickest of fog. It's perfect for navigating through dark roads or trails, and it's especially useful when riding at high speeds – the increased visibility gives me a lot more confidence when cornering or descending.

One of the things that's been a bit of a letdown, though, is the runtime. Even on the lowest setting, I've only been able to get around 2-3 hours of use out of
